This Is Not a Government or Law Enforcement Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot confirm whether a warrant exists, recall or clear a warrant, post bond, arrange a surrender, or give legal advice for anyone. For any of those, you need the court that issued the paper or the sheriff's office directly.
Need Official Warrant Information?
Here is where the questions most Union Parish readers ask actually belong:
- Whether a district criminal case or bench warrant exists: the Union Parish Clerk of Court, which files criminal charges and keeps the verified minutes for Third Judicial District cases
- A court date, form, or division question: the Third Judicial District Court's Union judges' office in Farmerville
- A town citation or ordinance matter: the issuing municipality's clerk, police department, or mayor's court, since the sheriff's civil office does not collect Farmerville, Marion, Bernice, or Junction City ticket money
- A warrant held by the sheriff's office or a report it produced: UPSO Records, which takes requests by mail, email, phone, or in person
- Custody, charges, or a bond amount after an arrest: the Union Parish Detention Center, then the sheriff's office, where Third District bond paperwork is handled
Union Parish does not publish a dedicated sheriff's warrant unit. Records requests go to UPSO Records at 710 Holder Road, Farmerville, LA 71241, Attn: Records, by phone at (318) 608-3017 or by email at records@unionsheriff.com, and the office says to allow five business days once it has the details it needs.
The Clerk of Court is at 100 E. Bayou St., Suite 105, Farmerville, LA 71241, with a main line of (318) 368-3055 and minute clerks at (318) 368-8026. The Third Judicial District judges' office is in the same building at Suite 202, reachable at (318) 368-9734. The detention center is at 707 Rodeo Circle, Farmerville, LA 71241, (318) 368-9827, and it is operated by the parish police jury and jail commission rather than the sheriff.
For a town matter, start with the town: Farmerville at (318) 368-9242, Bernice at (318) 285-9071, or Marion at (318) 292-4715. Junction City and Spearsville work through smaller offices, and the parish dispatch center can help route a call.
We cannot answer legal questions, and nothing on this site is legal advice. For an active warrant, a surrender, or a bond decision, speak with a licensed Louisiana attorney and the court that issued the process.
